Shipping Policy for Dust & Daydreams

1. General Information

All orders are processed and fulfilled by Dust & Daydreams in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. We take pride in carefully packaging each handcrafted item to ensure it arrives safely and beautifully.

At this time, we only ship within the United States.
We do not ship internationally or to U.S. territories outside the 50 states (including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands).

2. Processing Time

​

  • Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days after payment is received.

  • Custom or made-to-order items (such as personalized pieces, hat bar accessories, or workshop kits) may take 7–10 business days before shipping.

  • Orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends or U.S. federal holidays.

If we experience a high volume of orders or inventory delays, processing time may be extended slightly. You will receive an email update if your order is delayed beyond 10 business days.

3. Shipping Rates & Methods

​

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your order and your shipping address. We currently ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on the best rate and delivery time.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days

  • Priority Shipping: 2–4 business days

Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and not guaranteed by Dust & Daydreams once the package is in transit.

4. Local Pickup & Events & Holiday Shipping Deadlines

​

We offer free local pickup in Reedsburg, WI, or at pre-scheduled farmers markets, vendor events, or workshops.

  • Select “Local Pickup” at checkout and we’ll email you pickup details.

  • Pickup orders must be collected within 7 days of notification unless other arrangements are made.

To ensure your gifts and handmade items arrive in time for the holidays, please place orders by the following dates:

For faster delivery nationwide.

Local Pickup (Reedsburg / Farmers Market Events)

Pickup available through Dec 23 by appointment.

Please note: Weather conditions, carrier delays, and rural delivery routes may affect timing.

 

Orders placed after the dates above are not guaranteed to arrive before Christmas.

We recommend shopping early, especially for custom pieces and gift boxes.

5. Tracking & Delivery

​

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number by email. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking to activate.

Dust & Daydreams is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by shipping carriers

  • Incorrect shipping addresses entered by the customer

  • Lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery

If your order shows as delivered but you did not receive it, please contact your local postal carrier first, then reach out to us at dustanddaydreams@yahoo.com for assistance.

6. Damaged or Defective Items

​

We carefully inspect and package all items before shipping. However, if your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 business days of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the damaged item and packaging

We’ll work with you to offer a replacement or store credit (depending on the situation).

7. Returns & Exchanges

​

Because many of our products are handmade or personalized, all sales are final.
However, if you received the wrong item or a damaged product, please reach out within 3 business days and we’ll make it right.
