Accessibility Statement for Dust & Daydreams
Last updated: November 2, 2025
Website: dustanddaydreams.com

Dust & Daydreams is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards.
Our Standard & Approach
-
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across key user flows (navigation, browsing products, reading content, and contacting us).
-
We build on Wix features and apps that support accessibility (semantic headings, alt text, labels, focus order, and keyboard navigation).
-
While WCAG is not a law for most private businesses, it is the widely accepted technical benchmark for ADA web accessibility in the U.S., and we use it as our target standard.
Measures We Take
-
Design & Content: Use of descriptive page titles, headings, alt text for meaningful images, sufficient color contrast, and clear link text.
-
Code & Structure: Logical focus order, keyboard-operable interactive elements, and form labels with error feedback.
-
Testing: Periodic checks with automated tools and manual keyboard tests; we fix high-impact issues as we identify them.
-
Training: Team awareness on accessible content creation (e.g., captions, transcripts, and avoiding “color-only” meaning).
Current Status
We are actively working toward WCAG 2.2 AA conformance. Some third-party content (embedded widgets, social feeds, maps, payment tools) may be outside our full control, but we encourage vendors to provide accessible solutions.
Compatibility
This site is designed to work with the current and previous major versions of common browsers and operating systems and to be usable with standard assistive technologies (screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, and switch devices).
Feedback & Help
Your feedback helps us improve. If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, please contact us and we’ll do our best to help and to correct the issue.

Enforcement & Your Rights (Wisconsin & Federal)
-
Businesses that are open to the public must provide equal access to goods and services and effective communication for people with disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III. If you believe you were denied equal access, you may have rights under federal law.
-
Wisconsin law independently prohibits disability discrimination in public places of accommodation or amusement. You may file a complaint with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Equal Rights Division within 300 days of the incident. See the resources below in “Legal Notes & References.”
Note about Sauk County: Sauk County publishes ADA policies and an ADA grievance process for county programs and services. These county procedures do not govern private businesses like Dust & Daydreams, but residents can still use the state and federal avenues listed below for any discrimination concerns related to private businesses.
Ongoing Review
We review this statement and our site at least annually and after major site updates
Legal Notes & References (as of Nov 2, 2025)
-
-
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) enforces the ADA. While DOJ finalized a Title II rule (for state & local governments) that adopts WCAG 2.1 AA, private businesses under Title III are still expected to ensure accessible, effective communication; WCAG remains the prevailing benchmark used by courts and settlements. Section 508 (Federal agencies only)
